for everyone

Peer pressure is a powerful influence. Imagine being within a group of people your age and several of them bragging about how easy their life is; about how smart they are.

They take advantage of the social support system and get paid for their "faked" disability. As a result they are always out partying and seemingly having a good time.

However, unknown to you, these same people whom surround you are victims of ADHD induced from alcohol abuse while their mother's were pregnant. Outwardly they appear to be mentally normal. But in actuality their minds are so unfocused that they are dangerous behind the wheel of a car; because they can't focus to accomplish anything.

They will fuss with the radio, chit chat on a cell phone, read every billboard and ultimately have recurring accidents.

These same people brag at how smart they are, trying to make it appear that they have the upper hand in life. They influence people around them that do not have the same disability into thinking it is okay to abuse the social systems; and other people. Their own lack of self-esteem driving them to inappropriately influence other people to gain their respect.

The mentally handicapped are convincing people who have intact mental faculties that no one can contribute to society unless they unfairly take advantage of others, and that they have no ethical responsibility to society.

The mentally handicapped are creating criminals out of mentally superior and potentially useful people; just because of peer pressure.

This IS a dysfunctional part of our US society. Mentally dysfunctional people are given much more respect than is deserved.

Gang bangers, thieves, thugs, people who don't pay their rent, people who scam credit cards ..., these people are most often mentally impaired. They just need medication to treat their own ADHD so they can become respected members of society. Every alcoholic should be tested for ADHD and given medical treatment if appropriate. Most alcoholics have ADHD. But we currently ignore these people.

Corrupt politicians and members of organized crime choose to live a life outside of society. These people "choose" not to use the brain provided to them, to figure out how to make their own way through life; productively. These are people who choose not to use their brain, and yet think of themselves as mentally significant.

If anyone chooses to revere someone as being significant, choose someone whom is doing something to benefit society. People whom are parasites (like a leech), have no basis for respect. They are less than useless and self-centered. They are only powerful because they are part of a system of leeches.

Anyone whom has a functional brain is worse than lazy if they respect the words of someone whom is mentally lazy.

As my father has often told me, "The day you stop moving, is the day you die". Meaning, the human body was never meant to sit still; it only functions best when the muscles are making an effort. The same can be said of the brain, it functions best when often used to its limits.

Those who need the short bus, have my support. Those who just want to ride the short bus, should be made to walk.
