We are the product of all experiences and natural influences within our local corner of the Universe. The day we first noticed a point of light in the sky at night, we became aware of the Universe, and the Universe exerted its influence upon us.
For me, spirituality is the merging of what I believe critically and what I feel through intuition. So organized religion makes no sense at all to me because they each contradict one another, and they each adopt relationships that are blatently fraudulent.
So my spirituality has evolved as a meme to be a reflection of that which I desire to relate. The following link relates my personal beliefs, based upon what I have learned. Therefore the following link is my personal meme.

So now that you know what my personal meme is, you can probably surmise that there is a fair amount of conjecture involved.
Therefore,
"Every belief is based upon a set of meme (evolved beliefs) and regardless of whether it is spiritual, procedural, or otherwise, every belief is largely undefined and lacking in complete evidence."
Our minds and longevity are too short to allow us to completely accumulate, deduce, and define anything outside of circular logic.
Everything we know is based upon a set of incomplete premises, where we use an incomplete set of arguments, to derive incomplete and always ficticious conclusion.
However, where we are fortunate, we derive partial solutions for doing useful things; but hardly, if ever, do we not always find better solutions with increasing experience.
Only recently did mankind find out that we are beings of energy, and that the previously thought solid nature of our body is only an illusion. That other energies pass within and through us every moment of every day.
All of us will have to be content with living our lives in the very small worlds of understanding defined by our own memes based in circular logic; because of our basic limitation of being unable to correlate complex relationships. In-general, most people, if not all people, including myself, are unable to accurately correlate more than 3 defined variables; and there are an infinite number of variables in the Universe.
Basically, I follow the systems of circular logic that provide repeatable relationships with that which my senses can interact. While I denounce relationships that are obviously fraudulent.
Lots of repeated information does not give credit to a piece of knowledge; only with repeated correlation with other relationships in our total Universe does a piece of information have any value.
What extent would I go to find evidence? It is a life-long endeavor that is incorporated into my daily life. As the world around me inspires me, I continually adjust my sets of circular logic so that the information better fits together.

This is why meme are important, they provide inspiration to journey from. Unfortunately, the spiritual concepts I grew up with are so far from the truth that it has taken me a large part of my life to relate them as the unimportant factors that they are.

As we learn about relationships, we can deduce more accurate memes to create a broader understanding of our place in the Universe; and better control for ourselves within that Universe.
Organized religion is a frozen set of circular logic that does not evolve; it is not a meme! Organized religion is simply a small subset of circular logic that stagnates the development of meme.
Spirituality is the active development of meme! It is the loose equivalent of evidence-based science surrounding topics that currently are not physically perceivable.
Thus the difference between Spirituality and Religion; Spirituality grows, Organized Religion is spiritual death.
