One of the people who I sent this prayer to had a nice idea. They asked that I send this prayer to all of my political representatives; and I think that is a great idea!

2008 New Years Prayer for everyone to share:
May each person learn to value the roots of truth, over the pretty words of corrupt leadership.
May every person who opposes altruistic deeds, learn to value truth over the self-deceit of unfounded fear.
May each of us learn that words are most effective when used to deceive, but behaviors are most effective when used for ethical good.
May each of us learn the difference between truth and contradiction, so we may ascend above living our lives in contradiction.
May we learn to have integrity.
