Setting and consistently achieving goals are an important part of success in anything. The journey is far more important to the soul than the goals themselves. Goals are like markers along a path to let you know that you are still on your "chosen" path. But the journey where you experience the beauty around you, the sounds that draw your interest, the sun and cool breeze upon your skin, the taste and smell of the air, the beating of your heart, and the thoughts that fill you with passion, are by far more important to your soul than the markers along the way.
What happens when you arrive at a fork in the path of your life? You choose! Each path will lead you home if you travel far enough, some are shorter, others longer; but each has it's own burdens and beauty to experience. There are many paths to travel, and we can return to travel the same path after traveling another.
Any path can be chosen, one is no more correct or valid than another. Each one of us must choose our own path. To force and/or deceive anyone to follow another's path is to corrupt and steal their soul; the journey feeds your soul.
Developing your thoughts related to God can enrichen your life and your soul. Allowing yourself to be forced to follow the religious beliefs of "men", allows those men or deities they represent to stifle or steal your soul. They are the devil. They speak as though they understand God's-will when they know no more than a new born baby. People are easily confused by the works of men because they truely want guidance to find the next guide post along their path. Unfortunately, any work provided by any person, can not lead you to a place they themselves have never found.
People confuse contentment with "loss of interest". People are very much influenced by social peer pressure. Always guard your soul from contentment and peer pressure. Contentment as it relates to the unknown is always an indication of losing interest. So if you are content with your faith, you are only faithful because of peer pressure; not because you have found God.
Self deception allows people with a good heart and a corrupt soul to live within their own skin.

Many people are blinded behind ingorance due to brainwashing that can't see beyond own beliefs instilled,even to love thats so precious to find.How unbearable to lose a love over been unwilling to tolerate opinions and beliefs in religion.The 'Sleepers' marry have children and settle into family life to await the call of organisers of their mass destruction.So mixed up and confusing,have to beware as could be a cult with misleading people.PeaceMB

My step daughter ( English,christian ) has a son to her Afghani partner - they are teaching him both and will allow him to make his own choice when he's ready...wouldn't it be a better world if we could all see it that way.xxxx

People are not born with a fully functional brain. That is a process of evolution... the brain EVOLVES as it is APPLIED via physical experience. So too is spirituality a process of an evolving awareness of SELF... the god self that dwells within all life is but the force/spirit that animates LIFE. Religion is a man made system of CONTROL. It has nothing to do with spirituality and is actually an impediment toward evolving spirituality. What is GOD... if not a FULLY REALIZED being.. in which case... God is evolving as LIFE itself evolves and it is in the process of EXPERIENCING life that God becomes GOD (a fully realized being) It is through the force/spirit... not FORCED/spirit of LOVE which ALLOWS and doesn't seek to IMPOSE one WILL over another. This force/spirit is absent in MOST conformed religions unfortunately. Free WILL... the ability to CHOOSE what one will be or do with the life given them is the greatest example of ALLOWING.. otherwise known as LOVE. It is a precious as the gift of life itself as without it... we would all be bots/artificial intelligences... operating via a pre-programmed directive forced upon us by our maker. There need be only ONE commandment... and that commandment should be... "Thou shalt not be a SPACE invader." Meaning... you should not impose your will on another because in dong so... you are invading their sacred space. But... if one determines they must adhere to but ONE of the Christian commandments... it should be the first... as is written... the man Jesus stated was the most IMPORTANT of all the others. That is... "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." In doing this... one would not seek control through imposition as they would readily recognize the law of karma as being a law of even energy exchange. What one creates and releases into the physical world... will of law (karma) seek to return to its source.
You ask... So which ones are the works of men, or the Devil? And I answer: ALL are the creations of the MINDS OF MEN... both Gods and devils because neither Gods nor devils are able to exist without men to do their works... as they are not PHYSICAL beings... but man is. And... it is in the minds of men that they first gestate... then made manifest and then loosed upon the physical world to be applied in a physical manner....manifesting either positive results or negative ones accordingly... cosmicly speaking of course.
PS... the reason God knows everything about you and every thing else is because you and everything else are a part of God's becoming... a fully realized being. A PC is called a personal computer in the way that God should be considered a PERSONAL God... as personal and as intimate as the self.

I know a wonderful man who attributes his beliefs to a man much wiser than himself. His beliefs are solely defined by the interpretations by this wise elderly man. This same elderly man preaches that anyone who does not believe in the Qur'an is demonic. There are over 12 different sects of Muslims. Which are the true believers and which are demonic?
The current Muslim leaders say that the unenlightened are favored by God because they may find their way. Muslim leaders say the Muslims that have strayed from the Qur'an are being punished; and that is why they must return to the Fundementalist ways. However, Muslims in the United States and elsewhere in the world live comfortable lives where they are free to explore their Islamic faith and only those seeking Fundementalist ways are punished with misfortune by God. So it seems to me that the Muslim leaders who support Fundementalism are the root of all Muslim misfortune; yet they themselves refuse to see the reason for the misfortune of their own peoples. Or do they see, and have their own agenda?
If the freedom in the path of religious exploration (the journey) is not the most important part of any religion, than each and every person is demonic; because no two people believe exactly the same.
The Bible is filled with contradictions between what is written and what is proveable in nature and history. The Bible has large sections that were plagerized from ancient Egyptian texts; stories that existed long before the supposed birth of Jesus, were copied into the Bible, out of context. There might be some representative and truthful aspects to the Bible, but the Bible has a large portion that is compiled by men and is blatantly ficticious.
Mohammad's brother wrote the Qur'an, and uses the Bible to attribute validity to his writings. Yet the writings of the Bible are ficticious entries made by men, so Mohammad was not so inspired as to see that his attributions to the Bible were unjust, and therefore are ficticious themselves.
I do not believe in the opinions of leading religious peoples. There are as many religious leaders as there are politicians. Absolute Faith handed down to a person is the product of demonic influence. I respect the person who finds a philosophical/religious relationship that exists without contradiction. Those are the relationships that best guide me on my journey.
