for everyone

We've long known it has been possible to make cars that get over 100 miles per gallon; but it's taken a German car company to finally produce one and allow it to get to the commercial market.

Think it's pokey?  At 100 mph it still gets 170 mpg.

Maybe we will finally get vehicles that we have been asking for !!!!  I hate cars in-general.  I just want a vehicle that is reliable and economical.  But US car companies will keep the US Government from allowing the L1 on the market here for a reasonable price, instead of producing cars that are equally efficient.

The US oil industry is married to US car companies; I'll bet that they force the US Government to tax and otherwise influence the market so that this $18,000 car will cost the US consumer over $36,000 in the United States.

I hope not, but I've not been wrong in quite a while.
